Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, who is an actor director, producer, playwright, teacher, and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton, and an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements when she was a child.
